Akarai was born out of the need to defend the rights of sportsmen and women to freely practice water sports in the Pitiusas Islands.

Frequently Asked Questions
AKARAI is the Ibiza Formentera Wing & Kite Club. A club that brings together more than 200 members from the Pitiusas and outside and whose mission is to promote water sports, organize competitions at the local level, train the champions of tomorrow and defend the right to practice our sports freely and safely.
El Club se financia a través de las aportaciones de sus socios y del patrocinio de empresas locales.
Now by becoming a member of the club, you can have up to 2 hours free in Wingfoil in Kitesurfing.
At the moment we do not rent material directly from the Club, but we do have test material that you can use for free as a member.
Even so, we have partners who have schools and rent equipment on both islands. We will be happy to put you in touch with them!
There are 3 types of memberships: Basic, Premium and VIP. Although the VIPs have some other advantages over the Premium plan, the price difference is an economic gesture for those who want to support the club beyond the membership fee, allowing us to buy regatta material and grow the Club.
Yes, we do have discounts for families and kids. Contact us if you are interested in registering your family.

Yes, you can unsubscribe whenever you want. But your membership will remain active until the renewal date of the current year (November 1st).
Memberships are annual and automatically renew each year. You can do this by accessing your account, in the Subscriptions section. Starting January 1, 2023, memberships will automatically renew with your card charged.
No doubt! Joining the Club will connect you with hundreds of people who share the same interests as you and will accelerate your integration on the island.
You will be one of the family, whether you live here or not. When you visit us, we will be waiting for you with open arms and in the meantime, you can enjoy exclusive discounts for members in the store, all year round. This Autumn 2023 and Spring 2024 we are going to organize travel packages to Ibiza to practice our favorite sports.
